The Streaming Giant Chooses Ideal Actor for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Season 3

The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, though the real showdown won’t take place until season 3, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has just been cast.

The streaming service revealed Tuesday that the talented performer will appear in the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bentham. The role possesses the power to transform into an exact copy of any individual they’ve made contact with with their right hand. Escola, who is gender non-conforming and prefers they/them pronouns, will depict a rendition of that character re-envisioned as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag performer, in the live-action series, differing from the initial comic and anime.

This performer is joined by several other fresh additions set to bring the organization to life, featuring chief Sir Crocodile, played by the seasoned performer, an emerging star as a key member, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of the fictional land.

Although the role is a key figure of the group, the persona won’t appear until One Piece season 3. Considering the second season expected to adapt the Little Garden arc, this represents a notable change in the placement of their first appearance, one that could signal further changes to the narrative framework.

Their mix of precise humor and emotional depth makes them a ideal selection for the part. Along with their recent voice performance in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and several accolades for creating and performing in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, highlighting the versatility they’ll add to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.

The platform’s adapted One Piece program is due to premiere for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
