Our Purpose Involves Only Killing' - How The Sudanese Ruthless Fighting Force Conducted a Massacre

Fighters chuckle as they move on the back of a utility vehicle, racing past a row of multiple dead bodies and moving in the direction of the descending Sudan's sunset.

"Look at all this accomplishment. Look at this instance of mass destruction," a combatant shouts.

These individuals are exulting in a atrocity that relief organizations suspect resulted in the deaths of over thousands of civilians in the Sudanese urban center of el-Fasher during October.

A Community Severed from the Globe

After maintaining the city under encirclement for almost two years, from the summer the RSF moved to consolidate its dominance and blockade the leftover civilian population.

Satellite images show that troops began to construct a massive berm - a built-up sand barrier - encircling the perimeter of al-Fashir, closing access routes and preventing aid.

During the encirclement intensified, seventy-eight individuals were killed in an militia strike on a mosque on 19 September, while the UN reported 53 additional were murdered in drone and heavy weapon attacks on a makeshift community in the autumn.

Disturbing Recording Shows Unarmed Civilians Gunned Down

By sunrise on October 26th the RSF conquered the remaining army defenses and captured the main compound in the city, the main facility of the Military Unit, as the military pulled back.

Perhaps the most graphic videos to emerge and analysed showed the results of a massacre at a university building on the western of the urban area, where dozens corpses were visible spread over the floor.
